- Wash new batik separately to check for color bleed.
- Gently squeeze; never wring.
- Dry in shade, flat or hung, away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals, and tumble dryers.
- Iron on reverse at low–medium heat or use a cloth barrier.
- Test stain treatments on an inconspicuous spot first.
- Store folded in muslin/cotton, not plastic; air occasionally
